Metier to Provide PPM to Northrop Grumman IT

FEB. 2004—Métier, Ltd., a provider of statistical PPM software and services, announced Northrop Grumman Information Technology as a new client. Métier will provide advanced PPM for the development and deployment of the Defense Integrated Military Human Resource System (DIMHRS). 

The DIMHRS program is led by the Navy and managed by Northrop Grumman, which was awarded the development and implementation contract in September 2003.  DIMHRS is the largest PeopleSoft implementation in the world, and it will consolidate personnel and pay systems for 3.1 million Active, Reserve and National Guard Service members.

Métier's WorkLenz will provide a portfolio view of performance across the nine-year DIMHRS program, delivering Northrop Grumman models of cost, schedule and process.  The WorkLenz system forms DIMHRS' foundation to capture process data from program managers and contractors.  WorkLenz will structure and analyze this data to drive efficiency gains throughout DIMHRS development and deployment. In addition, WorkLenz will aggregate and condition project data from DIMHRS' existing systems to deliver statistical forecasting and earned value metrics.
