You can only be successful in applying the definitions, doing the activities and using the tools that comprise the Flexible Project Model by infusing and deploying them with the underlying principles, values and practices of eXtreme Project Management.
 

Disseminate is the final element in the Flexible Project Model. It is the point where the project deliverable is transitioned to the customer. The operative Shared Value here is Visibility. By Visibility I mean unearthing and correcting problems with the deliverable, as well as formalizing accountability for those to be held responsible for reaping the projects intended payoff.

There are two major components to the transition process:
  1. Ensuring the project deliverable does what it is supposed to and the sponsoring organization is satisfied.
  2. Ensuring the sponsoring organization is ready to reap the intended payoff from the project deliverable.
Herein lies a major difference between traditional and agile project management approaches: The domain of traditional project management extends from the point of design to delivery. Agile project management goes from concept to cash register.
