PMP stands for Project Management Professional. In today’s tough job market, PMP certification from the Project Management Institute can act as one more selling points in your résumé. There are 170,000 PMP-certified professionals in 120 countries, and many companies require the PMP certificate for project management positions. All else being equal, most employers prefer a PMP-certified candidate.
