Benchmarking study will looks at best practices for managing change and resistance in organizations.

Prosci Research is seeking participants in its newest benchmarking study to learn why some changes are implemented successfully while others fail. The study is designed to uncover best practices for managing the human side of change and to identify the most effective steps leaders can take to improve project performance.
 
Prosci has engaged more than 900 companies from 59 countries in its research on change management. Its last major study in 2005 included participants from around the world and a range of industries, including British Airways, Coca-Cola HBC, GlaxoSmithKline, HP, Lucent Technologies, Nextel Communications, Shell Petroleum, the U.S. Air Force and Wachovia Corporation.
 
The study focuses on revealing lessons learned from participants, including:
    -- Greatest overall contributor to project success
    -- Biggest obstacle for change initiatives
    -- Top reasons for resistance
    -- Most important activities and biggest mistakes of senior leaders
 
The study also includes new research topics:
    -- Change saturation — organizations reaching their change capacity
