September 14 forum offered in conjunction with online survey to measure organizational support for project, program and portfolio management.
The PMI-Silicon Valley Chapter is hosting the Project Management Maturity Forum 2007, to be held September 14 at the Decathlon Club in Santa Clara, Calif. The one-day forum will explore the value of establishing a high-performing project management culture dedicated to ongoing process improvement. Among topics to be addressed are challenges in building organizational project management maturity, and leading practices and tools to accelerate resolution of these challenges, including maturity models such as the Organizational Project Management Maturity Model (OPM3).
In conjunction with the forum, the Silicon Valley chapter is also conducting an online survey to measure how well organizations supports project, program and portfolio management. The survey’s 31 questions cover areas such as upper management support, project teams, project management information systems, project manager selection and development, project culture and project offices. Forum attendees will receive a copy of the consolidated results.
Featured speakers at the forum will include project management consultant and author Randy Englund and Stanford Advanced Project Management program founder Dr. Raymond Levitt, who will join senior executives, directors, CIOs,
