New PM Certification Launched
The Certified Knowledge Expert in Project Management stresses the ability to apply functional knowledge in practical situations and across technology platforms.
A new professional certification in project management has been launched by the International Consortium of Certified Knowledge Experts (ICCKE) and Prometric, a global provider of testing and assessment services. The Certified Knowledge Expert in Project Management (CKE PM) is based on a body of knowledge that encourages peer interactive learning and stresses the ability to apply functional knowledge in practical situations and across technology platforms.
“An increasing number of organizations are seeking professionals who have a blend of both technical and functional competencies that deliver reliable results in the changing marketplace.” said Jacob Thomas, presiding member of ICCKE. “People that have the ability to engage customers, visualize the solution terrain from the functional requirement map and deliver results consistently will forge ahead, and win on behalf of their organizations.”
The CKE PM certificationassesses conceptual project management knowledge and examines the ability of the candidate to apply relevant tools and techniques to guide projects to successful completion, irrespective of industry.
