President Bill Clinton will deliver the keynote at PMI Global Congress, focusing on globalization and interdependence.
Project Management Institute announced today that President Bill Clinton will deliver the keynote address at PMI Global Congress 2010—North America in Washington, D.C., October 10.
In his speech, “Embracing Our Common Humanity,” President Clinton will draw upon his experiences “to provide insight into the challenge of globalization, emphasizing our growing interdependence and pointing the way toward a future based on shared goals and values,” according to the PMI accouncement.
“President Clinton was leading the United States during a time of unprecedented prosperity and change,” said Gregory Balestrero, president and CEO of PMI. “He continues to be a powerful voice for progress around the world through his work with the Clinton Foundation and his tireless efforts in places like Haiti and other regions. His insight and experience will be an inspiration to project managers and organizations as they reinvigorate the global marketplace and drive continued economic recovery.”
This year’s Congress will take place at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center from October 9-12. Scheduled sessions include:
