New Intermediate BA Certification
The International Institute of Business Analysis announces a fast track to new certification.
Business analysts can now take a fast track to acquire a professional designation when they obtain the new Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA). The International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) announced the launch of an intermediate certification at its virtual Annual General Meeting in June. Applications will be available later this year, and the first candidates are expected to write the new CCBA exam in January 2011.
“IIBA is developing this new certification for professionals who wish to expand their career options sooner and obtain quicker recognition for their ongoing investment in their own professional development,” says Kathleen Barret, IIBA president and CEO. “The new certification will also benefit organizations that need to signal to their stakeholders that their business analysts have gained significant knowledge of best practices and standards in their field.”
The certification process also offers employers the opportunity to assess staff competencies and recognize their professional achievement and commitment to excellence.
