Southern Ohio BA Development Day
An inaugural business analyst professional development conference in Ohio, set for April 2011, is now soliciting presentations.
The Cincinnati IIBA Chapter will host a Business Analyst Development Day on Friday, April 29, 2011. The Conference theme is “The Strategic Value of the Business Analyst.”
Presentation proposals are being accepted for the conference in Cincinnati, Ohio, which will benefit the Greater Cincinnati, Southern Ohio, Southeastern Indiana and Northern Kentucky business analysis communities, according to Aaron Whittenberger, CBAP, vice president of certification at the Cincinnati IIBA chapter. Individuals or teams can submit presentation proposals here.
The chapter is looking for keynote and conference sessions on themes and topics focused on increasing the strategic and tactical effectiveness of the business analyst, including Improving BA Skills, Business Process Modeling, Enterprise Analysis, Integrating the BA into Daily Activities for Strategic Value and Emerging Trends in Business Analysis. Presentations that do not fit into one of these themes can be submitted under “Other.”
All selected speakers will be entitled to attend the conference free of charge (limit: 2 speakers per presentation). The deadline for submission is December 10, 2010. In addition, submissions before November 24, 2010, are eligible to
