The Daily Grind
If work is a daily grind, it doesn’t matter how talented teams are, they eventually burn out and move on. Leen Zevenbergen, CEO of a public IT firm, believes too many leaders fail to foster creative, enjoyable workplaces. Here, he elaborates on his philosophy and ideas for making it real.
On average, a person spends 75,000 hours of their life at work. For most, these hours can seem like the “daily grind,” while, for others, they are a time of creativity and enjoyment. Each particular view of the work day can usually be accredited to the managerial style in place at the company or organization.
