Former PMI CEO Joins IIL

Greg Balestrero will promote awareness of “corporate consciousness” and advise the project management training provider on the development of new programs that focus on leadership and accountability .

Gregory Balestrero, former president and CEO of Project Management Institute, has joined project management training provider International Institute for Learning, where he will advise on new program development in the area of organizational transformation, including “corporate consciousness, leadership and sustainability.”

"All of us at IIL celebrate Greg's arrival," said E. LaVerne Johnson, IIL's president, founder and CEO. "He is a champion for project management and other effective business strategies, a visionary leader, and we are thrilled to have Greg as part of our global team."

Balestrero comes to IIL after serving at PMI from 2002-2011. With a career spanning more than 40 years, his work has brought him to over 60 countries and has shaped his view of organizational purpose and global impact.
