Six federal projects were honored at the Project Management Excellence Awards held during the Government Information Technology Executive Council (GITEC) annual Summit.

Six federal projects were honored at the Project Management Excellence Awards held during the Government Information Technology Executive Council (GITEC) annual Summit. These competitive awards held annually are intended to recognize the achievements of outstanding government projects.

The federal projects and agencies honored were:

  • Bureau of Engraving and Printing for exceptional work on the BEP Enterprise project
  • U.S. Army for exceptional work on the Global Combat Support System-Army project
  • Department of Homeland Security for exceptional work on the National Information Exchange Model PMO project
  • General Services Administration for exceptional work on the Data.gov project
  • Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board for exceptional work on the Transparency and Accountability Platform project
  • State of Alaska for exceptional work on the State of Alaska Data Center Consolidation project
