Project Management Institute has launched a five-report thought-leadership series on strategic initiative management that examines the shifting role of PMOs from process to value delivery.

Project Management Institute (PMI), has unveiled its first annual PMI Thought Leadership Series: Strategic Initiative Management – The PMO Imperative. This highly anticipated, collective of research was developed with Forrester Consulting, Boston Consulting Group and The Economist Intelligence Unit to provide executive-level insights into the critical success factors for delivering bold change that materially impacts the role of the PMO and the successful implementation of strategic initiatives.

For many businesses, two things are clear: greater uncertainty and an accelerated pace of change. The ability to quickly shift direction and develop and implement new strategic initiatives is rapidly becoming a key differentiator and competitive advantage.
