3 Productivity Hacks for PMs
As project leaders and practitioners, we should always be looking for better approaches and techniques to improve our productivity. Here are two “hacks” designed to streamline your email system, and a third to prioritize your daily task list.
It is already late January. Did you forget about your resolutions already? Hopefully your new gym membership has seen some use and you’ve seen a few pounds drop from the waistline. However, if you’re still cruising by the office commons area for Free Doughnut Friday, you might want to review those resolutions. And while you’re re-evaluating your new year’s resolutions, consider a few project management productivity hacks for 2014 as well.
As project leaders, we're always looking for better approaches and techniques to improve productivity. Since it is still the beginning of the year, I thought it would be useful to highlight three PM hacks to improve productivity in 2014. I’ve been applying the following “hacks” as part of my PM New Year’s resolutions.
Hack #1: Happiness is an empty Inbox
Did you ever notice how good it feels to have a clean desk that is void of clutter, sticky notes and random documents? I feel that way about an empty inbox.
I found having too much email in my inbox actually increases the stress level. Removing email from my inbox is actually a stress
