Understanding Agile
Looking at the awesome results of using an agile approach, organizations and people are trying to find answers to:
- What is agile?
- What are the steps to follow?
- How do we implement agile?
- How do we become agile?
- What is Scrum, XP, etc., and how do we make use of them?
I feel that it is necessary to understand the true meaning of being "agile" before even we think of making use of different agile methodologies in the market.
In my opinion, the true meaning of agile is “being quick in a controlled fashion". Agility is a behavior or thought process of being quick in a controlled fashion toward a goal.
Agile transformation starts with first step toward changing our old thought process to new, thorough processes of being agile.
Agility is the very powerful tool to achieve anything. So start being agile and start achieving goals.
