Here are the 10 most highly recommended project management tools on TrustRadius, a business technology research platform that gathered and verified user ratings of 14 features, including team collaboration, mobile access, and support for agile and waterfall methods. The market is saturated with project management tools — check out the whopping 194 listed on TrustRadius — and as a buyer, sifting through these options can be overwhelming. A few popular products tend to rise above the noise and dominate the conversation — for buyers researching PM software, JIRA, Asana, and Basecamp are likely household names. However, we were surprised to find that the most popular tools are not always the most well-liked. JIRA, Asana and Basecamp were the three most frequently researched products on our site, but they were not the most highly rated by their customers.

As in other areas of software, features like collaboration and mobile access have taken center stage.
