When it comes to project management, there are two main approaches to achieving success that teams take: outcome-focused, and process framework-driven. While both approaches can be effective, a combined model positions project teams better equipped to deliver success.

Outcome-focused/process-driven (OFPD) teams emphasize achieving the desired results rather than simply following predetermined steps. This means that they can be more flexible and adaptable in their approach, as they constantly evaluate and adjust their strategies based on the outcomes they yield.

Additionally, an outcome-focused team is more likely to be innovative and creative in problem-solving, as it is not limited by a rigid framework.

Finally, an outcome-focused team is better equipped to handle unexpected challenges and changes in circumstances, as it can quickly pivot and adjust its approach as needed.

While both approaches have their merits, an OFPD project team is ultimately better equipped to deliver successful outcomes in today's fast-paced and ever-changing business environment.
