About this Blog
Thank you for visiting my blog.
I started this blog to respond to questions received after my webinars on ProjectManagement, com, for which I am very grateful. The webinars are a practitioner's view on various aspects of the Agile Enterprise and very likely an alternative view of Agile. I used most of Agile practices since mid 80's and I moved to a structured approach to Project Management to address the challenges of scaling Agile practices beyond a software development team.
I have an interesting background, and that is the reason for looking at Agile from a different perspective. I started my career as a CAD/CAM specialist working on using computers as a tool in support of more flexible manufacturing processes, while improving their efficiency. A mechanical engineer at hart, I started my journey in software development when most Personal Computers had still the IBM logo and when c was a standalone compiler.on PDP.
During my career I was fortunate to work with experts in various knowledge areas of Project Management, such as Emeritus Prof. Jane Cross, the Head of the Risk Management School at UNSW and the 'mother' of the Risk Management Standard, Pam Morris, the founder of Total Metrics and a world expert in Project Benchmarking and many others.
