I am a well experience IT person - As I have years of experince in IT management and project management, I know the benefit of using the right tool and actually follow through the project management. But, the dark side of such approach also can bite you as some people go crazy spending hours if not weeks just to show a simple approach to a simple project management. Every tool has its own PROS and CONS. My question is if anyone knows of a software that runs under MAC so I can do a simple task timeline and task management. Again, I am not looking for those tools that you need to read over 1000 pages to come up with a 200 pages of document. That to me is a total waist. Thanks in advance for any suggestion.
P.S. If you know of such program under Windows, I do not mind it either.

It is focused on making project management easy with tools to track and manage tasks and to present reports such as the simple task timeline you have requested. It is not a complex application with multiple screens and hundreds of fields to populate. The application is 100% web based and is tested to work with both IE and Firefox. It has not been tested with Safari, so I cannot guarantee anything if you are using that browser with a MAC. However, I know Firefox and IE are compatible with MAC and we have other clients who use VPMi on a MAC without problems.
