Do you use this term " Project Inception" ?

The primary goals of the Inception phase are to achieve stakeholder consensus regarding the objectives of the project and to obtain funding. The major activities of the phase include: Define project scope.

Sometimes in Agile projects, haven't heard it yet in waterfall projects. But the term is pretty universal.

Very familiar with this word but didn't find in PMBOK. I think mostly relevant with activities in initiating PG.

Kevin, I'm glad you brought it up, that's very brilliant, I just used it when I mentioned about our mancave project that is still in the inception phase.

I thought very normal PM use it and familiar with it, but it looks like the opposite.

I have used before, but generally, I find that no matter the terminology, explanations are often needed :)
