Tamara, I’m not sure that it’s a good idea to ask someone else to write the scope for you. The whole purpose of the class exercise is for you to try it yourself and learn from your class mistakes to not repeat the same in real-life. When I teach I want to see not only what my students understood, but also that they did not understand to be able to explain it again and ensure there are no holes in their instructions when they complete the course.

What I would suggest you to do is to post the assignment instructions and your first cut to the preliminary scope statement (if that’s what you’re looking for, it’s not quite clear from your message what “scope” are you stuck into), and ask the community to review and provide advices regarding what are you missing and how can you improve. Based on the feedback received you should update your assignment and take it back to your instructor for his/her feedback. This way next time you have to do it (probably for a real project) you will be able to do a really great job at defining the project scope.

Tamara, read your post again, you have already started to document the scope within your question! best advice I can give without giving you the answer is dont panic just think about what the project is trying to do and what it isnt trying to do.

Tamara - if you're stuck on scope - identify the deliverables and work backward. If you understand what it is you're delivering - understanding how to get there is easy.
