Does anyone know if this would be a better agile method to ingulf in after completing a CSM?

I have been contracted to lead/create a PMO for commercial/retail renovations/rehabs of about 1m Rsq spread over 8 corp suites, 32 retail locations and 2 vertical towers in the construction industry which has been my area of expertise for 17+ years just not in an "Agile Mythology".

Any feedback would be great!

Thanks.

I am in the same field as you and I believe PMI-ACP would be better on so many levels that just getting the LSSBB.

Here I am again (hehehe, is a bad joke just because I always answer the same). First thing to understand is: Agile is not a method, is not related to software only, did not start with the Manifresto, is not about a process. Just to help to understand that I will put below two articles that were written by people I have the pleasure to work with and one of them is related to the genesis of Scrum and other software methods. Agile was born as an alternative of Lean and can be applied to any environment under some conditions. What I find hard is to apply Agile with Six Sigma (while we use both in my actual work place) due to the characteristics of Six Sigma. But indeed, is you run Six Sigma then you are ready to be Agile with some minors adjustments.

Hi Simon, I don't see how a Six Sigma black belt is going to help with a "PMO for commercial/retail renovations/rehabs" etc. More than anything it's the 17+ years of expertise that will account for more than anything.

Thanks Sante, i figured that much but am always looking for ways to educate and adapt to today’s best practice certifications.

I will take both yours and Sergio’s recommendations on this matter and if anyone else can add to this discussion I would be grateful.

Thanks again
