I just received my book Tuesday and since I changed my course geared towards the PMBOK 6 I was wondering if this book is even worth keeping.
It reflects PMBOK 5 and for now I can't find many other books on version 6 since it seems fairly new.
Should I bother using it or is the information not as relevant any longer? Saving Changes...

The subject line of this post says "Rita Mulcahy Exam Prep Third Edition". If that's the book you have, recycle it. But if you have Rita's 8th Edition or 8th Edition Updated, it's not worthless for the new exam. As best I can tell, 90% of the questions in her 9th Edition are the same as the 8th. But you'll want to make sure you spend some time in the newest PMBOK Guide to see what was updated. If you have a local library new you, consider checking out the most recent book (or one of the other helpful exam prep guides). Saving Changes...

Yes that makes more sense. Rita Mulchay’s passed away last year I believe so now her company is updating the book. At the time when I applied for my PMP, Rita Mulcahy’s book was the best reference. Very Solid so besides PMBOK, I would certainly advise you to study RM Book. Good Luck. Saving Changes...
