Are there any special interest group for women project managers led by PMI?

I would like to know if there are any special interest groups for women project managers to understand their vision/mission. I think there is one SIG in US, please let me know if anyone is involved. Saving Changes...

In my experiences, I have seen many women in tactical, strategic, and leadership roles in the Program and Portfolio levels.
Growing into leadership roles is not restricted to gender or bias, a lot has to do with the passion and drive of the individual. Complacency has no bias. That said, I'm certainly not pretending that there are not inconsistencies out there.
Maybe work with the PMIEF to determine goals and strategies for educating and preparing our upcoming workforce in project management. Saving Changes...

Thanks Andrew, I am glad you acknowledge inconsistencies. The recent article in PM network shares more data around gender disparities and talks about state of women in project management. Appreciate your thoughts and thanks for sharing.

Hi Selva,
I've been in business in USA in and out of Project Management for years. Advice for women to grow into leadership roles begin with understanding Its not gender its strength, knowledge, ability and confidence. Look at entire scope of every project, consider all players involved, and express your opinions without waveG6KEK76ring. Be stern, tough and compassionate all at the same time.
