I would like to know if there are any special interest groups for women project managers to understand their vision/mission. I think there is one SIG in US, please let me know if anyone is involved.

Hi Selva,
I've been in business in USA in and out of Project Management for years. Advice for women to grow into leadership roles begin with understanding Its not gender its strength, knowledge, ability and confidence. Look at entire scope of every project, consider all players involved, and express your opinions without waveG6KEK76ring. Be stern, tough and compassionate all at the same time.
Thanks Joyce, appreciate your thoughts

Hi Selva,
PMI.org dissolved the WiPM SIG a few years ago. It was a great SIG run by an exceptional PM, Rosemary Taylor. They had an excellent PMP Study Group and a supportive group of women across the globe. I was sad when they took it away, but it didn't fit into PMI.org's new SIG model for some reason. You might try starting one at your local pmi chapter.

There's nothing more powerful than a group of intelligent women leaders on a mission to change the world!)

Thanks Christine for the insights. It is very sad that we had to disband it. I sent messages to connect with Rosemary Taylor to gather some insights, I will appreciate if you can help me connect with her.
