Checklist of 6Cs of stakeholder engagement? 6Cs

I put it for you in 6 Cs: Yes Another 6C from Kevin.

1. Communicate; Are you communicating enough and what kind of information are you
communicating?

2. Consult, early and often; let them be part of the decision-making circle from an early
stage. Early, then regular consultation is essential to ensure that requirements are
agreed and a delivery solution is negotiated that is acceptable to the majority of
stakeholders.

3. Consider, we’re only human; We do not always behave in a rational, reasonable,
consistent or predictable way and operate with an awareness of human feelings and
potential personal agendas.

4. Conscientious and measured approach (Plan); so Investment in careful planning
before engaging stakeholders can bring significant benefits.

5. Create and Maintain Relationships; Developing relationships result in increased trust

6. Compromise; The initial step is to establish the most acceptable baseline across a set of stakeholders' diverging expectations and priorities.
