Is the PMI certification valuable in Construction industry in India?

Even I have Comparably less experience in construction field, I find PMI certification are valued less because non of my seniors or managers are PMI certified. They are just experience professionals in construction background......

That's a very common problem in that industry Syed. Perhaps you can find ways to demonstrate the value of the PMP certification, and the best way to do that is managing a project well and letting senior managers know that your PMI certification is in part responsible for the success.

Well said by both Sante and Rami.
Sooner or later industries are picking up the importance of structured approach for project management and in a later stage SME not necessary to be the best project managers.

Once an industry starts to recognize PMP certification it rapidly becomes a clear plus.
