PMI Updating PMP Status

Does anyone know how quickly after passing the PMP exam, the results and/or status is updated on the pmi.org website?
I passed last Weds and according to the certification guide, results should be available straight away however my online cert status is still at 'You can now schedule your exam'. I sent an email to the EMEA service centre but they have a 5-day SLA in responding to emails (which is ridiculous, given the size of the operation) and as I am going on holiday in a couple of days time am concerned that the PMI don't have the results. Its probably irrational, but why suggest the results are published straight away if they are not?
Does anyone know how long they take to appear, to put my mind at rest? Thanks

its okay, no sooner as I posted here the certification changed on the PMI website
