I am working as a Planning Engineer in PMO(Project Management Office) Role in a refrigeration Contracting company in gulf.

I do not have experience on that domain but I have trained people in portfolio/program/project management that belongs to that domain. As any other type of things the decision to take is: Do portfolio/program/project management process must be included as part of organization strategy? If the answer is yes then the next step is deciding if a new physical business unit deserves to be created to locate those process (the PMO) or those process will be located into existing business units. it is an strategical decision that will impact into enterprise arcthitecture.
