Did our discussion board become an exam simulator or variation of PMWars today?

Seems there are a lot of very "exam"-ish questions today, pushing most of the discussion topics down off the list. Maybe it's a good break...

It would be good if there was a way to filter discussions by author when such spamming happens...

John, you will see that from time to time as some members tend to have some clarifications required prior to their exams which is a good thing to post it here so others can benefit from it too.

Even us, sometimes seeing different opinions would make us probably realize that our answer was not the correct one.

It happens. People are studying and then they find this discussion board and think, yeah, these experts can help me. They start posting questions that are stumping them.

I posted some when I was studying for the RMP. There are always those few questions that you just need someone else to look at and tell you why you are struggling with it.

I am happy to help wherever I can. You all helped me when I needed it. I will continue to "Pay it Forward"

It felt a lot like "spam" at first glance, but after reading Rami and Dinah's comments, I can see where these could be legitimate stumper questions... :-)

That is no going to stop , because every day we have new people coming in, so always from time to time we will see those questions........................

I don't see why exam questions can't be a discussion.

It is an excellent idea to discuss here different knowledge areas using exam questions model. I drop my questions usually more related to my daily experience, but also I enjoy testing myself and keeping my brain sharp.

John,

Seem those type of question come by cycle. Most seem legitimate and are valuable. Other overdo it and post numerous question at once. They need a coach or a training that might not be available in their region.

Some generate interesting discussion also.

Thanks everyone for your perspectives!

That's one of the things I really like about this site, lots of different (and respectful) opinions and experiences. :-)
