Project Manger Job requirements in the USA

Hi...My husband and I will be moving to the states this summer. He is a project manager with extensive experience in the UAE,in addition he is PMP/PBA certified and he holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. My question is: What are the requirements for him to work as project manager in the states?thanks

another question....dose he need to be a PE? should he get any kind of certification to work in the project management field?

PE license sometimes depends on the state. My recommendation is that he can wait I saw some job offers that said "Available to get the PE in 6 months after offer"...
