Estimate activity resource ?

Dear all, in pmbok 6 edition this process is shifted to resource management ,but i think that it preferred to be in schedule as in 5 edition ,it was more logic ?

As you know one of the biggest changes was to explicit change the scope of word "resource" to all type of resources. Because of that all related to it was concentrated into the resource management are. Take into account other big modification is inside the inputs definition where you can see the detail of some items like "Project documents". At the end, the idea (as far as I know) was to concentrate all related to one item into one specific area for each item.

I mean that when we explain to out audience the project schedule ,we must explain resources and how it will be determined .

Why do you feel it's more logical under Project Schedule Management than Project Resource Management? There is already Estimate Activity Durations which is related to time/schedule.

Ok,noted but how can we estimate activity duration without estimate activity resource .Duration is based on available resource .

Yes, you are right. All you need to do that is inside the inputs (6.4.1). See what is named "6.4.1.2. Project Documents". That is new in the PMBOK Guide. I do not like it too much but is a new way to list things you need as inputs and thngs you create/modify as output.
