Has anyone used this course or is using this course for their CAPM?

https://www.udemy.com/capm-pmbok6/

The instructor gives off the impression that this material is all you need to understand and be prepared for the exam aside from the PMBOK guide itself.

Would I need other resources or is a course like this broken down to teach exactly what I need to pass? I see there's a bunch of resources with the course, maybe that has to do with flash cards or quizzes ?

Also Udemy has a full refund policy if you did not benefit from the course as long as it is within one month of the purchase. It happened to me once and they fully refunded me,

Udemy has some great courses and some horrible courses. Udemy will give you your money back if you choose not pursue a course within a limited time. I have had to do it before. For $10 to $20 I figure it is worth the risk, especially if I can get my money back on a horrible course.
Personally, I like backups. So I usually try to double up on the courses and if I can swing it (with budget) I get them from two different sources. Having been on a learning binge this year and getting certifications I probably should have gotten years ago - budget is a concern and with 5 certifications down I have almost spent the cost of one boot camp.
I have never been a fan of the Bootcamp style of learning, I can't really learn that way. Spending 8 hours a day sitting and staring at an instructor rattle of facts just makes me hate the material and not learn much. I like to draw the learning out. It helps me digest it in smaller packages and think about what I learned. As the boot camps tend to be the most expensive option, I am not sure I get what I paid for there. I know people who love them, but my focused attention span is a little bit shorter than that.

Sometimes cost does not determine the quality...

Quick example -

Grant Cardone's 10X book. Best seller, one of the #1 books in his arsenal of literature. He can sell a $500 ticket to go see him for a 10X 2 day weekend seminar sharing the what's inside of the book while others spend the $30 or so to read it at their leisure.

Both deliver the same value, different approach.. How can one justify getting a $30 value at a $500 cost just for the personal experience? Majority will learn less from the experience as their focus diminishes throughout the time frame. It's not like we are comparing a 1 on 1 coaching session with a $30 book.

Sometimes, gold nugget are found in tools that are less expensive and delivered the right way to the consumer versus expensive boulders delivered the wrong way or falling short of where it could've been if more love/time was put in to it.

Joseph Phillips is good. I'm taking his CAPM course. He did a much better job with the PMBOK 6 material. He's very accurate in his structure. Just about every slide informs you of key areas straight from the PMBOK. It's like reading the guide without having to read what's not necessary, just points that you would typically highlight or place in bold. I like his examples the most though to help you relate material to life practices.

I did CAPM exam prep course on Udemy by Joseph Philips and cleared the exam. When i saw the PMP prep course it was similar to the CAPM so within a week cancelled the same and got a refund (you can cancel the course within a month to get an eligible refund)..

Udemy is good and worth taking it...

Did you use only the course with the PMBOK or did you utilize other study tools also.

I pretty much just use that. So far so good.

I used PMBOK, the Udemy Course and You tube (Free) videos of Phill C Akinwale (Praizion) for study purpose.
I enrolled in PMtraining.com for mock tests, took nearly 90-100 mock tests(50 Questions max in 1 sitting) in 90 days

"Impartial observers from other planets would consider ours an utterly bizarre enclave if it were populated by birds, defined as flying animals, that nevertheless rarely or never actually flew. They would also be perplexed if they encountered in our seas, lakes, rivers and ponds, creatures defined as swimmers that never did any swimming. But they would be even more surprised to encounter a species defined as a thinking animal if, in fact, the creature very rarely indulged in actual thinking."
