What are the criteria to get your photo on the top line banner of this website?

I have noticed few photos with less number of influence, yet their photo is advertised on top banner of this website, I am just wondering what it takes to meet requirement.

Mind you it is not a high priority it's just a curiosity. If you ever had wondered before let us have your say.

I don't think anyone knows the algorithm for the top banner. Some have said that you usually do not see yourself.
Dinah, I can see myself there but as I mentioned, it does rotate.

I asked this question very early in the days when I joined this community and I recall that it has to do with how long you’ ve been an active member combined with your contributions and how people react to them.

Rami it looks randomly choosen with no base of influence or contributions

I have never seen my headshot up there despite having a higher influence score for the past 3+ months than most of the folks in that "hall of fame". Then again, I see enough of myself in the mirror so am fine with limited exposure elsewhere!

Nope, as I have previously replied to this theory, I have seen people on that banner that have an influence of 23 and have not been around a long time. So it can't be based solely on length of membership, contributions and the responses to them.

I'll give an example again to prove this. Just now I viewed the banner, and saw someone with an influence of 29, and get this, a total contribution of 2, yes 2! Probably the lowest contribution I have ever seen. I have also bantered the word around before: Nepotism (in some cases). Prove me wrong ;-)

Dante, only 2 that's the lowest ever could be almost like nothing looks like we need a plc tech to change sequencing of logical ladder to our favourite

Sante,

I just tried with a different browser, not logging in. I re-loaded the home page 25 times, and while it changed each time, I never showed up.

At least one of Rami, Vincent, Don, Andrew and Stephane were always present.

The next time you see me in the header, please confirm that it is really me (click on the image), and then send me a screenshot as I'm intrigued...

Thanks!
