Hello,

Any recommendations on a tool/software to manage/plan resources across several projects? I've tried Microsoft Project but it wasn't very successful.

Your feedback is highly appreciated.

Thank you,

Recently I tried Float and Resource Guru, both of them are good.
They are specialised in manage/plan resources

Thank you again for your feedback. I would probably look into these two options first prior to Premivera

A couple of years ago I used this on some predictive projects: https://www.zoho.com/projects/

It looks like now they also have a phone app.

MS Project on its own is not good at this, but when combined with the MS Project Online component can provide resource/capacity planning across projects. An advantage of this route is that it is easily learnt and understood if you are already familiar with the desktop app.

Ah ok, I thought the university might have education pricing for all these apps. They should for academics and students.
