I was lately using Licensed Microsoft project 2013, I came across a training course asking me to download the 2016 version as prerequisite.

Have anyone used Microsoft Project 2016 and can shed a light on the difference from Microsoft Project 2013 please?

MS Project 2016 offers some great features such as; easy search for an action item instead of digging through menus, and the ability to have multiple timelines! Yes, you heard that right; multiple timelines. How cool is that! I believe there are also reporting enhancements as well.

I enjoyed using MS Project 2016. Have fun!

Hello Riyadh
Most of the new features are found when using Project 2016 with Project Server 2016.

Here is a link from some sites that point out the new features

Riyadh -

One thing to note - the two versions can't co-exist on the same PC, so if you want to try a trial of 2016 it will overwrite the 2013 version so you'd need to uninstall & reinstall to get back to 2013 afterwards.
