I highly recommend you take a look at Norm Kerth's new book called, "Project Retrospectives: A Handbook for Team Reviews," Dorset House Publishing, NY, NY, c. 2000. ISBN:0-932633-44-7. [See www.dorsethouse.com for more info.] It supposed to be released soon if not already. I have used some of Norm's material as education and in my own work. The book presents one of the most comprehensive works on retrospectives and lessons learned. He has a chapter on Anatomy of a Retrospective and Preparing for a Retrospective. Also, the Amplifying Your Effectiveness (AYE) conference (www.ayeconference.com) in November 2000 will be having an experiential learning session on retrospectives. I highly recommend that you attend this conference if you are interested in retrospectives. Also, you will get a tremendous benefit out of the other technical sessions as well. - John Suzuki
