Hi all, does anyone have any experience of any Project Portfolio Management tools that integrate well with Microsoft Project? Which ones do that successfully nowadays?

Thanks

what specifically are you looking for as far as integration goes as that might narrow the playing field a little since many of the PPM tools I've worked with have some ability to export data in a format which can be loaded into MSP or can consume an extract from MSP?

Or maybe the exportation is in fact importation into the PPM app?

Thanks Kiron, all, yes "upwards" integration of data from MSP into the PPM solution- in order to aggregate milestones, resources, activity, costs etc. This would either be on demand from PPM system, or continuous real time feed , not manual extract/upload ideally.

Most PPM solutions have the ability to do this manually, but a continuous feed is something which would need to be scripted or programmed over and above native functionality.

An important consideration when importing from MSP is ensuring that all PMs are following some standards as far as the underlying resource pool & calendars go otherwise you risk "polluting" the PPM resource pool and/or having unintended date shifts due to differences in working time between MSP and the PPM solution.
