Is Wrike a good alternative to Microsoft Project, or is Project the best? I'm considering reasonably-priced or free software alternatives. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks Saving Changes...
Vesna, I am afraid to say that they are all the same end of the day it depends what you want it for.
Microsoft Project is widely used and very comprehensive. However, Wrike is more of a web-based collaboration app, but also a good tool.
Recently I tried Bitrix24 and it is a project management system entirely free for unlimited users. It limits storage to 5GB a month (small catch).
Also have a look at Freedcamp.

Is anyone using agantty? I need a simple tool to outline small to medium project milestones, dependencies, and timelines.
Eventually some stakeholders may input and edit their own tasks, but for now I'm looking for something that is flexible, easier to manage then project, and I can export plans to pdf for presentations.
thanks!

Hi Jeff, have you tried Instagantt (https://instagantt.com/). It might meet your needs; very easy to use and also 'plugs and plays' with tools such as Asana. Possibly worth a look. I've actually used the 'live' view to present to stakeholders and it presents quite well when projected.
