Applying Gamification In Project Management Training

Have you gamified your training program?

I am looking for people who have experienced a gamified learning environment or who have applied it in their training (classroom or online) so we can share ideas and develop new concepts.

Great inputs.

So we are on the same page, What I mean by gamification is the use of some elements found in games in a non-game environment (in this case your classroom).

'Gamification is the application of game-design elements and game principles in non-game contexts.'

" The gamification of learning is an educational approach to motivate students to learn by using video game design and game elements in learning environments. The goal is to maximize enjoyment and engagement through capturing the interest of learners and inspiring them to continue learning." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gamification_of_learning

Michael -

We are doing it in a somewhat old school manner for a "be agile" campaign we are planning within our department. We will be using the tried & true Passport approach with folks earning points for participation in events over the campaign which can be redeemed at the end for token prizes.

Nice one.

How do you track student's points?
Is that done manually or you have a digital platform for that.
