It happens all the time Riyadh. It's mostly people that create a profile here and then rarely come back I would say.
Sante, I thought so too and you are right there are many like that but when you see the other half you find their photo daily in the upper VIP banner what Kiron called it a banner of fame so you would assume the opposite

Riyadh, as I observed some of the peers that appear in the "banner of fame", are there because they contributed with a lot of content as seminars, articles and others, maybe they only join one a month...less Rami that is now in the banner!
You are right Sante about people rarely coming back. There are several related platforms to manage including PMI, linked etc..
It would be useful to have email notifications features for the request to connect. That would hopefully remind people to attend to their inbox on this platform.
Josephine, that's a good idea too like we get notification on post, I think I get that many times I receive email then it is turn to be a connection request and I accept it immediately.
Thanks for your comment though and welcome on board. Saving Changes...
I have many of those. Some finally accept after months, many never accept. I do not track them or anything.
I think it would be a good feature to note on a person's profile when they were last active. That way you know if the may accept your request.
Dinah, what a brilliant idea to have and it is not difficult to apply it, most IT expert can programme that feature, I have that, one of the site it tell me when was the last time I used it, this way you would know that this person never logged in for a year or six months
I mean we're exploring many options we would love to have on this website after using for almost every day. Saving Changes...

Mayte, well that one is still a mystery as we have seen people with less influence no contribution 2 or 4 only no connections only 2 download and 2 white papers and the photo keep circulating, I am happy for them it is good I just wanted to understand if there was a certain criteria, and about Rami he really deserve to be on the banner of fame he puts a lot contribution time and most connections he has but then when we see someone there with 0 connection then you would wonder ! Right ?

Normally we receive emails when people request connections but not reminders. It is only one email stayting that a person sent you a connection request.

Fully agree but to do this, they have to take the platform to a completely different level and it will take time. Like I mentioned earlier, this website requires lots and lots of enhancement and with this growing community, if this wasn’t handled soon, it will become a problem on so many levels. You need a new complete enhancement. Saving Changes...

Yes, I had similar experience in the past, and I think it will be nice to have an option to cancel if there is no response for several weeks.
Thanks for posting this question, Riyadh.

Lavaughn, I guess most of us get that notification email for connection request. Thanks for your feedback to Josephine
