I am just wondering if there is an option to click and cancel or delete the request after many months with no response.

Have you experienced similar case where you sent a connection request and it's just parked there no response?

Good observation Riyadh. I think in addition to network notification email they should also have a separate Network notification icon on your page indicating number of pending request to attend to.
Eugene,

There is an indication under your name on the top-right, red dot with a number. Once you click you get the number of Inbox and number of connections request.

Is that what your notification suggestion was about?

Vincent, thanks for your feedback I get that, you might send the request and forget about it but once you see the same person with a notice that connection requested few months ago with no response you might wonder why.
I have the same.
Then you see that the recently added new network connection! after your request.

No answer on that, it got lost in cyberspace ;-)

Riyadh,

Over the last year, a few things change concerning connections. It was simpler. Under a person Name, you would see

Network: xyz and under
Connected since xx/xx/xx or a button [Connect] or "Connection requested"

Now we have a fourth option "a blank or empty line" that replaces any of the three

Vincent, thanks for shedding light on this I was not aware of that, I guess with the increase numbers of participants this site needs upgrade and added features

Vincent, thanks for your comments it seems that there is no way to resend because it is grey out saying connection requested so yes in that case they might not seen it so we can resend again but it should park in their network am I right?
