I am just wondering if there is an option to click and cancel or delete the request after many months with no response.

Have you experienced similar case where you sent a connection request and it's just parked there no response?

You can’t cancel it. There us no option to do so. This is a very important option to have and they should consider adding it.

Rami, I agree with you there should be an option for that.

It happens all the time Riyadh. It's mostly people that create a profile here and then rarely come back I would say.

You are right Sante about people rarely coming back. There are several related platforms to manage including PMI, linked etc..
It would be useful to have email notifications features for the request to connect. That would hopefully remind people to attend to their inbox on this platform.

Sante, I thought so too and you are right there are many like that but when you see the other half you find their photo daily in the upper VIP banner what Kiron called it a banner of fame so you would assume the opposite

Yes, it would be a nice addition to the feature request list to have the opportunity to rescind a request if the need were to arise.

Maybe there should be a renew option for the people accepting the connection, like after a year, and if they don't renew, the connection drops. Otherwise we just build up a bunch of passive connections like every other platform.

Josephine, that's a good idea too like we get notification on post, I think I get that many times I receive email then it is turn to be a connection request and I accept it immediately.
Thanks for your comment though and welcome on board.

Normally we receive emails when people request connections but not reminders. It is only one email stayting that a person sent you a connection request.

Sante that's a good option too or few months in stead of waiting for a year

I have many of those. Some finally accept after months, many never accept. I do not track them or anything.
I think it would be a good feature to note on a person's profile when they were last active. That way you know if the may accept your request.

Dinah, what a brilliant idea to have and it is not difficult to apply it, most IT expert can programme that feature, I have that, one of the site it tell me when was the last time I used it, this way you would know that this person never logged in for a year or six months
I mean we're exploring many options we would love to have on this website after using for almost every day.

Fully agree but to do this, they have to take the platform to a completely different level and it will take time. Like I mentioned earlier, this website requires lots and lots of enhancement and with this growing community, if this wasn’t handled soon, it will become a problem on so many levels. You need a new complete enhancement.
