I see being a 'team player' as putting the good of the group about my own self-interests. For example, I might take extra time to help someone else with their work so it will help a valuable deliverable to be produced faster, even though I don't have to help and doing so doesn't directly benefit me.

Aredila. thanks for your comment, the challenges always there and it is fun to overcome and it is the essence of looking forward to team successful result than just individual achievement.
Look more inwards into the team than outwards from the individual.

My view of a team player is an individual who focuses on the objectives of the team/group and the synergies created by working with others in the team to achieve those goals
