Can we elaborate more in depth on team-player definitions and qualities?

Riyadh,

Team player in a project see the project globally and work accordingly. Not just for his/her deliverables.

So talk in ‘we’ and ‘our’ not using ‘my’.

A Team player may not be a Team Leader. But a good Team leader need to be a team player.

You also mentioned a good point that not all team players can be team leader there's one team captain.

Kev, very powerful point I like that and agree there must be different in opinion but the idea is to reach consensus and find common ground where all team work on it to achieve the end result, well said Kev

I define team players as those whose actions support the team goals and work well and support other team mates

Who runs from pillar to post for team.
Share teams work for the team to be more productive not necessarily technical.
Always with the team be it weekend or holiday for the work scheduled on such days.
Always around team to check whether they are stuck or need any help
Always accessible
Has "Let us..." approach
