Just as with woodworking, always pick the right tool for the right purpose or context. A project following a traditional, deterministic lifecycle where the PM is assigning work to team members might benefit more from the use of a traditional scheduling tool than one where an adaptive lifecycle is followed and the team pulls work from a backlog.
