Next Step to Designing

Running a construction project, the design works completed. What are the next steps?

If you have all permits in place then you can break grounds.

Approvals to be obtained, new regulations to be noted and make changes if necessary (it is less costly to include design changes now) in the design based on feedback from Approving agencies. After that you could start the project cycle for the construction phase right from initiation, planning, foundation, build, monitoring progress of construction phase and construction completion followed by handing over process.

Though I am not into construction, hope I have covered the main aspects as per my knowledge.

Items to consider:
1) Are all the elements of your Project Management Plan Complete?
2) Have you conducted a Kick Off Meeting with the Client?
3) Is your staff experienced and prepared to execute?
4) Have You considered your Stakeholder Management Communications and Meetings?

Just a few comments, not knowing anything about your Project.....
