I adapted/developed a Responsibility Matrix that we use when vendor SLA is not available (i.e. 99% of the time!). Email me offlist and I will see if I can get an okay to share it.

Can I get some clarity on "SLA"? It may be dating myself, but the only thing that comes to my mind is "Symbionese Liberation Army."

We use SLA in reference to Standard License Agreement.

Compatriots;

I apologize.SLA (Service Level Agreement)
A document that helps the Programmers and the IT technical support groups get along.
The SLA will outline the roles & responsibilities of systems groups & prevent them from pointing fingers.

In the context it was used, I should have known! (...guess I'm spending too much time with the lawyers...)

Did anyone ever get a copy of the SLA template?

If so, i would be eternally grateful if someone could mail me a copy to [email protected]

Many thanks

C'mon guys, I was hoping someone would have delivered for me as well. Here is an interesting guideline for IT SLAs specfic to ASP services (application service providers). Does anyone have anything more generic, yet still useful? Thanks.das

I'm new to this area so this information may not be timely, however, I am an ITIL trainer and within that context I teach Service Level Management (incl. SLAs, OLAs and UCs). You can find a lot of info re ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) at the following location http://pultorak.com/pcbit/itil.htm. At that site the Service Delivery book devotes an entire chapter to SLM and has some good hints and tips for developing a service catalog, other issues that might arise such as corporate culture, and common features found in SLAs. There's too much detail for this forum but if you would like to contact me directly we can go through some of the information. Hope this helps.

Honestly, I already have a template for the SLA (Service Level Agreement) & OLA (Organization Level Agreement). But I need to compare than others. And also testing whether it is appropriate or not? I would be very grateful if someone could send a copy to [email protected]

Regards,
