Is there a specific section or area on projectmanagement.com that is dedicated to PMP Exam Prep, where candidates can ask questions, and certificate holders (and others) could answer these questions? If not, what would it take to create one? Saving Changes...
And exactly that is the problem ... all the information is spread all over the site. Especially new members do feel lost immediately when they join the site for the first time (and some time after that since they become familiar with the site structure and so on, I can remember that it took me some time to get through when i was new several years ago ...).
So, I would welcome the idea by Eric to have specific sections; chapters, whatever for the several PMI certifications where all the information and guidance is consolidated to make it easy to find especially for new embers ...
I agree, and over a year later, that really hasn't been addressed. Saving Changes...

Markus,
So true it takes time to see all the information available on the site. Saving Changes...
A user manual! :-)
One-pager that gives you an overview of the site could help new members.
What about a Topic for certification prep?
A one click visible in main page "Exam Prep" discussion. Saving Changes...

I think is not. But to be "professional": if it is created, is the PMI against the business of lot of organizations that are selling this services?. Just in case the seciton is created, count with me. Saving Changes...
Isn't a proposed discussion group just another old thread? Or doesn't that count? ;-)

Agreed - I'd envision such a group as covering multiple credentials and questions pertaining to the application process, practice exam questions and maintaining credentials so a single thread wouldn't do it justice.

Very good
Topics may need to be explained in some case, most are clear. Some topics are industry-related other are more process-related.

Could "New practitioners" serve that? Saving Changes...
