Maybe it's just me - I've noticed that my influence score on the site has plateaued over the past few weeks at 92. I was used to it oscillating a point or two fairly regularly but it seems to be "stuck".
Sante, you are absolutely right on this and I have done the same and felt much relieved and started to focus more on value added activities, your PhD surely is more important, wish you good luck and let's know when you achieve it. Saving Changes...
Thanks Riyadh, and good luck with your other activities :-) Saving Changes...

I did not post for a week, while I was vacationing, and the influence score went down 1 point. Actually it briefly went down 2 but then was back up. I am OK hovering around 74/75. It is a little hard for me because I am very competitive. But it is just a number after all. Doesn't really impact any other part of my life. I will keep telling myself that.

Thanks Riyadh, I figured busting myself for an hour or two on this website each day for months and never getting past the very high 80's influence wasn't worth it. Now I have a lot less interaction with the website as you noticed, but still my score is 86. So for 2 to 3 points, why bust oneself right? I'm also doing a PhD at the moment, so that might just be a little more important than a few influence points ;-)
Good luck with your PhD, Sante !!. I was thinking about this for the last several years, but now I gave up.

It is motivating when you wake up and see that your influence has scaled one or two points. But only the members of the PMI office know what are the criteria behind those scores, they only know if a contribution is pertinent or not. Saving Changes...
